Athinaikon Hotel - Athens

The rooms are cheap and tidy, complete with a bathroom and necessary equipment. the staff is genuinely helpful and professional. - the location is central, very close to 2 stations: Ommonia and Monastriki. - Monastiraki, the center of nightlife in Athens, is nearby.

they clean the room and also the bathroom everyday ;-)

The Location was great, 3 minutes walk straight up a street from Monastiraki train station. The people who ran the hotel were very pleasant. Couldn't ask for more especially considering it's one star rating. Nothing flash, but a great staging point to explore Athens.

The shower head was a bit broken but still functional.

The location here is excellent, just a short walk away from the metro station, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is good, in between the Plaka and Omonia, not too sketchy, right on the edge. Yes the rooms are basic but they are clean with clean sheets and towels. Wifi worked in my room on the 3rd floor. I was given a room in the back and I could barely hear any traffic or cars. I did have some loud neighbors and the walls are very thin. The best part of the hotel was the woman who works there, she is so nice and helpful! One night I asked if she could order a pizza for me and she had it delivered to my room. When I left she gave me a bottle of Ouza as a present! The value was good for the money, new towels everyday and nice enough room, definitely recommend.

the food was appetising with lots of choice! the rooms were good basic and functional with bathroom, the staff were genuinely helpful.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available when we needed anything. the room was clean, spacious, and had free air conditioning. the location was great, just a short walk from the metro station and close to shops and attractions. the free Wi-Fi was reliable and the baggage storage facility was handy for our late flight. excellent value for money.

The hotel is fairly clean and the room is good basic. The location is ideal, walking distance to a metro station. There's O Thanasis offering takeout approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.

The location of this place is great, really close to the center 🏙️. the rooms are simple and affordable, especially the ones that come with a fridge in addition to the bedroom.

I liked the staff, we had a good stay. The hotel was safe and close to the city and to the metro station.

The staff were very accomodating and friendly. Location good. Room basic but very clean.

The mosquito's are vicious so make sure you use a plug in. It could maybe have done with having a computer for internet connection as there didn't seem to be many in the area.

The location is absolutely mind-blowing, with attractions, metro stations, restaurants, and shops at your doorstep. The breakfast is super for the price. The staff is jaw-droppingly helpful and eager to please. The owner and her son went all out to assist us in obtaining a refund from another hotel. The surrounding area is full of life, with specialized shops, numerous restaurants, and fashion stores. The hotel provides free wi-fi, convenient baggage storage, and spacious, clean rooms with flat-screen TVs, electric kettles. Our stay was simply amazing!

Very cheap, personal was very friendly and spoke good english (even french during night). Always someone at the reception so no need to keep the key all the time.
